Riverside Park’s new Homemaker Centre recent Grand Opening was held on 30 May, and as anticipated it was a huge success with over $10,000 in total prize giveaways.   Retail outlets have also reported stronger than expected trade since opening their doors.

The new centre is fully leased to nationwide brands including Nick Scali, Amart Sports, DecoRug, Storage King, Baby Bunting, Pet Stock, Forty Winks, Oz Design, Curtain Wonderland, Early Settler, and Storage King.

Similar to each development phase within the Riverside Park complex, the opening of the Homemaker Centre marks another milestone achievement for the Gibbens Group and Riverside development with the Homemaker Centre now completing all planned work for Riverside Park.

Exciting news for Riverside Park and Gibbens Group with Riverside Park Office Tower recently receiving the Commercial Architecture Award at the Newcastle Architecture Awards in March 2015. 

The judging panel stated that: The Office Tower, located at the gateway to Gosford and the southern region of the NSW Central Coast, represents a significant catalyst toward improved economic prosperity within the region.  ‘The development has overcome a series of contextual hurdles and offers new commercial opportunities in the area.  ‘It is a simple commercial solution to a difficult contextual position. The design stands out as a future benchmark for the local area.’

All awarded projects will progress to the NSW Architecture Awards to be announced 2nd July 2015 in Sydney.

“NO ENTRY” sign removed! June 2014
Access into Riverside Park from the Central Coast Highway at West Gosford has been improved, with “NO ENTRY” signs being removed from adjacent Yallambee Avenue.

The signs had come into force following the opening of the new Bunnings warehouse in April, however this made it impossible for motorists to cross directly from the many outlets on the RSL side of the road, direct into the Riverside Park access road. With the support of our major retailers, particularly Woolworths which owns Dan Murphy’s and Masters hardware, we approached the RMS which was quick to take on our point and undertake to resolve the situation.
